Summer time is here and the weather is cooperating with some heat and humidity infiltrating Connecticut and the northeast, says meteorologist Brad Field. But what about the weekend. Field, in his weekly podcast with co-host Dan Lovallo, notes Saturday and Sunday could be a little unsettled.

As for the 4th of July weather, it may be too early to speculate, but Field promises an updated podcast early next week.

During the podcast, Field and Lovallo discuss several weather-related topics, including the definition of “percentage of precipitation.” They also get into the hurricane season and the amount of daylight we receiver in the summertime.
