The Fourth of July looks to bring near-perfect weather for Connecticut and the region, although we could hit 90 degrees, but the heat and humidity will pour in on Friday, setting up a tropical, stormy Saturday, according meteorologist Brad Field in his latest podcast.

Along with co-host Dan Lovallo, Field talks about the holiday forecast, what the weekend looks like and previews next week.

Field and Lovallo also discuss the recent heat wave in Europe and what might have led to the unusually warm temperatures on the other side of the Atlantic. They also preview what the month of July weather might produce.
