Snow and a winter mix are part of Connecticut’s immediate forecast, according to meteorologist Brad Field, in his weekly podcast with co-host Dan Lovallo. As the state and region get pummeled with rain, thanks to the remnants of Hurricane Zeta, an Arctic cold front will collide with the storm, setting up an interesting commute for Friday morning, Oct. 30, according to Field.

Our weather will feel like a roller coaster ride for the next few days with everything from subfreezing to sixty-degree temperatures. Field will map it all out.

Brad’s winter forecast

While our temperatures will moderate, it is not too early to begin thinking about winter. In this podcast, Brad also issues his eagerly, anticipated winter forecast for the 2020-21 season. He also outlines how he came by his long range prediction.
