Snow then Arctic blast

Snow brings Arctic blasts!

A winter storm system that will bring mostly snow will be the appetizer for what will be a menu of frigid weather not only in New England but in many portions of the USA.

In his latest podcast, meteorologist Brad Field details the amount of snowfall expected to hit the region Tuesday, Jan. 29 into Wednesday, Jan. 30. Along with broadcaster Dan Lovallo, Field then details the frigid weather that will impact the area, following the winter precipitation. He also talks about Chicago and the Midwest, where records could tumble along with the temperatures, after two Arctic blasts saunter across the country.

  1. I have been sick with a virus since the beginning of Jan. Just starting to feel like myself. I don’t need anything for a few days so I can watch from the window. I do remember the “Blizzard of 1978”! I can deal with small amounts. However, that ice on the car last week was a bit much. Be safe my Friend!
