Renowned Rhode Island meteorologist Steve Cascione is the guest on a special edition of the Brad Field Weather podcast. Meteorologist Brad Field and Cascione reminisce about their days on Rhode Island television and look back on their long friendship. The two also discuss changes in weather forecasting compared to when they started their careers.

Cascione is now employed by the Rhode Island Department of Transportation, where among other duties, he provides weather-related information for RIDOT and Rhode Island Emergency Management, as programming service officer for the department. He is also the owner and president of Ocean State Weather.

For the remainder of the podcast, Field and co-host Dan Lovallo talk about the latest forecast, including winter’s attempt to go out strong with a storm on the season’s last full day. Spring arrives on Saturday morning and Field and Lovallo discuss that too and how it will impact weather for the week of March 21, 2021.
