Expect remnants of “Fay” to hit Connecticut late Friday, July 10 into Saturday, July 11. The state could get more than one inch of rain. Warm and humid temperatures will give way to a brief respite, before the hottest weather of the summer infiltrates the Nutmeg State, according to meteorologist Brad Field in his weekly podcast with Dan Lovallo.

Field times out the weather and what to expect through the rest of July. He and Lovallo also have some fun, discussing a Facebook survey on Field’s page about the favorite candy bar of Field’s followers. Hundreds responded and the results are given, during the podcast.
