The holiday weekend should offer a calm respite for the weather, except for some Friday precipitation, says meteorologist Brad Field in his latest podcast. Next week could be another matter, however.

In his discussion with co-host Dan Lovallo, Field mentions that two storms could hit Connecticut and the region the week of February 17, making for an interesting challenge for forecasters.

What about snow amounts so far this winter? Field and Lovallo delve into that topic and what to expect from here on in for winter and early spring.

And did you catch what’s happening in Seattle? Field details the weather scene in the Great Northwest.
