After a mild week of weather in Connecticut, the region is about to plunge back into winter, according to meteorologist Brad Field. The waning days of the season will rear its head with cold weather, wind and the potential of snow, Field noted in his weekly podcast with co-host Dan Lovallo.

The weather will cover the entire gamut, from a red flag warning to high winds, sub-freezing temperatures, 50-degree temperatures and then rain changing to snow, during the week of Mar. 14.

Field and Lovallo also talk about the weather our west and how it will impact Connecticut and region, as the week wears on.
