Weather changes are aloft for Connecticut, according to meteorologist Brad Field. In his latest episode, Field explains why people should not be fooled with the unseasonably mild temperatures of Dec. 16. After Field and co-host Dan Lovallo talk about the devastating storms that struck the midwest over the last few days, they get into the soon-to-be weather changing pattern that will impact the New England region.

Field notes the first noticeable change will occur on Saturday, Dec. 18. By the next day, the week of Dec. 19, winter will settle in, with its official arrival on the astronomical calendar on Tuesday, Dec. 21. And speaking of winter’s arrival, Field and Lovallo talk about their special podcast on that date, which will include a Facebook Live session at 10 am EST.

Field also delves into an early look, during the On the Weather Map segment, at the Christmas and New Year’s week forecasts.
