A major weekend storm could cause heavy rain and power outages, according to meteorologist Brad Field. In the return of the Brad Field Weather podcast with award-winning meteorologist Field and co-host Dan Lovallo, the duo begin their sixth season of the podcast by discussing immediate weather trends, a look back at November and a preview of the forecast for upcoming NFL games, involving area teams.

And it would not be a weekend, apparently without a major storm, and this one could be a doozy. Although a December storm, there will not be snow associated with the event, but heavy rain in a short period of time, unseasonably mild temperatures and high winds. Gusts could hit 60 MPH along the shore and 40 MPH inland, leading to some power outages.
