Connecticut’s cool, wet weather pattern will continue into the week of May 9, according to meteorologist Brad Field. In his weekly podcast with co-host Dan Lovallo, Field explains why the pattern continues to produce below-normal temperatures. There will be a brief respite on May 6 and May 7 but the wet weather will return on May 8 with more rain forecast for May 10.
May and June are also months that can produce some severe weather and Field explains the difference between a “watch” and a “warning” and why in Connecticut it can be difficult to designate the difference. To help with the information, during periods of severe weather, there are some important links on the website, that Field talks about.
