Connecticut is getting hit with its first nor’easter of the season, according to meteorologist Brad Field in his weekly podcast with Dan Lovallo. Not only will snow impact the entire state on Dec. 5, eastern Connecticut could see high snow totals, Field stated. Areas along the shore will mostly receive rain, while snow in interior sections will be heavy and wet.
The storm will take a classic nor’easter path and bring with it varying snow amounts across the state with high winds everywhere, that could lead to power outages. With temperatures not rising much, it could mean little snow melt on Sunday, Dec. 6.
Field also looks out into the week of Dec. 6 with his weather prediction.
