Connecticut to get slammed with major snowstorm, Jan. 25 and 26.

One of the most impactful snowstorms in recent years will strike Connecticut and the nation this weekend, according to meteorologist Brad Field, in his latest weather podcast. Before the storm strikes, however, near-record breaking cold will greet residents on Saturday morning, Jan. 24. Then comes the storm, Sunday morning, Jan. 25. It will not wind down until Monday evening, Jan. 26.

Upwards of a foot to 20 inches of snow could fall on the Nutmeg State, Field said.
