After a murky start to the weekend, pleasant weather will dominate Connecticut’s weather from June 7 through the middle of the month, according to meteorologist Brad Field in his weekly podcast with co-host Dan Lovallo.

On the 76th anniversary of D-Day, Field and Lovallo also discuss the impact weather had on the Allied invasion of Europe. They also talk about the active start to the hurricane season and the strawberry moon, expected to make an appearance over the weekend.

It is also the start of meteorological summer and the co-hosts talk about the difference between meteorological summer and astronomical summer.
