Wet Halloween means cold weather in the offing.

Wet Halloween brings dramatic change

A wet Halloween in New England will bring about dramatic changes in our weather, according to meteorologist Brad Field, who delivered the news in his weekly podcast with co-host Dan Lovallo.

Brad says it’s not out of the realm that the thermometer could crack 70 degrees in some portions of Connecticut on Halloween, before the wind picks up and the first of several power-packing cold fronts sweep through the region.

Brad and Dan also talk about what is bringing about these changes and what the forecast into mid-November looks like.
