The weekend will bring near record heat and humidity to Connecticut, making for dangerous conditions, according to meteorologist Brad Field in his latest podcast with co-host Dan Lovallo. Not only will the heat pour in, the nighttime temperatures could also set record-highs for lows. Say what? Field explains in the podcast.

Will we reach a heat wave? It really depends on Friday’s high temperature, Field said. One thing is for certain, however, much like a pending, winter storm, most people will want to hunker down for comfort.

Relief is in sight, however, and Field details when and how long the pleasant weather will hang around, once the heat and humidity move out of the region.
