Much-needed weekend rain could be a part of Connecticut’s weekend, according to meteorologist Brad Field in his weekly podcast with co-host Dan Lovallo. The state is nearing drought-like levels, after an extended dry spell, as Field and Lovallo discuss in the podcast.

The weekend will not be a total washout by any stretch, according to Field, but that does not mean the region will not be hit with some storms, as a warm front passes through Connecticut on Saturday, followed by a cold front on Sunday. As for the coming week, there are conflicts as to what the mid-week weather might be like, but Field details that, as well as taking an early peak at the 4th of July weekend weather.
