Storms are on the horizon for Connecticut and the region, according to meteorologist Brad Field. In his weekly podcast, Field explains which dates should be monitored and why the weekend of Jan. 30-31 could be a significant one.

When asked about the Polar Vortex by co-host Dan Lovallo, Field explains that people will notice a decided dip in the temperature. As to a Polar Vortex, Field discusses what is up with that weather event and why mild-than-normal temperatures in Alaska impact Connecticut and the northeast.
