More rain is in our forecast from May 2 through Sunday, following a rainy April, meteorologist Brad Field reports. However, in his latest podcast co-hosted with Dan Lovallo, Field notes that there is some optimism on the horizon.

Field discusses what unfolded in April and how weather in early May appears to be shaping up. He also talks about why the weather in the northeast has been, for the most part, dreary with below normal temperatures.

However, you cannot fool mother nature, and Field explains why the temperatures will have to warm up at some point. He also discusses the tropical storm brewing in the Bahamas, which could be strong enough to merit a name.
