While Connecticut should enjoy a nice, Labor Day weekend, that will not be the case in Florida, where preparations should be underway for a hurricane, according to meteorologist Brad Field.

In his podcast with co-host Dan Lovallo, Field says the east coast of Florida should be bracing for Hurricane Dorian, which could hit the Sunshine State in the area of Ft. Lauderdale sometime early Labor Day. Where the hurricane goes from there, Field offers some predictions based on the computer models he has followed.

Meanwhile, the final holiday weekend of the summer looks like a keeper, although Sunday could bring some clouds.

Field and Lovallo also announced they will have a special podcast on Sunday morning with an update on Dorian.
