March 2020 arrives on Sunday and Connecticut’s winter with little snow continues. In his latest podcast, meteorologist Brad Field looks back with co-host Dan Lovallo at some famous February winter snowstorms. He also notes that February 2020 has brought less than an inch of snow to the area. However, March could be a different story. Field points out that the first full weekend of March could pack a wallop.

At the moment, Field states that two computer models are at odds with a storm path predicted to be in the Connecticut vicinity around March 5. One model has the storm packing a winter punch, while another has it just missing the Nutmeg State.

Field and Lovallo also talk about sun angles and the meteorological end to the winter of 2020.
