An April snowstorm is on tap for April 17 into 18 for portions of Connecticut, according to meteorologist Brad Field. In his weekly podcast with co-host Dan Lovallo, Field reports where the snow accumulation will be the most in the state. He also times out the storm, explains where the storm is coming from and also details a new model for predicting snow amounts by the National Weather Service.

All is not lost, however, when it comes to springtime weather, as Field explains in the podcast.
